PES CHAMPIONSHIP – A CANARIAN’S VIEW (Part 2)Tenerife on the up as others slide
A glorious run of 10 points out of 12 and 4 clean sheets has moved My Tenerife boys towards the top of the table…..
Unbelievable for the team only just promoted to La Liga this term and started with what must be the smallest squad in the league until the Rosta update provided some well needed back up.
With the exception of a poor game against the Rockman which was surely pencilled in as an easy 3 points before kick-off, but ended a goalless draw, my boys have made me proud.
No better example was their best win of the season against Toffee loving Taylor’s Palermo who had a 100% record and zero goals conceded!
2 further wins followed against slagtastic Villa and a tough Burnley side.
Couldn’t ask for more from the canarians of Tenerife, but with the rest of the big boys yet to play, we will do well to keep up the pace.
I have to admit I’m being helped by the big boys all dropping points.
High flying Borderline has finally lost a game – to a first win for Robbie’s Blackburn (Thanks Robbie – It was about time he lost a game)
Taylors unbeaten run ended by a loss to my canarians.
Craigs early pace setters have stumbled and fallen in disastrous fashion.
Bavellas remains unbeaten but 2 recent draws against the poorly performing Deaf’s Villa shows signs of a struggling team.
Gwantommo is the other unbeaten team and is probably best placed for a march up the table having already played a couple of the top guys and not lost.
AceRulez early season promise has not materialised with a couple of losses…
8 Games in and Tenerife are on 16 points, having only lost 2 games and kept 6 clean sheets (not a bad return if I do say so myself) – Is this the form of potential champions…we will wait and see…but at the moment we are LIVING THE DREAM….and we’re bloody well loving it…..We won’t be giving it up without a fight!
